Competition: Doncaster U12 Rounders Tournament

Report:

Year 7 Rounders team played in a Tournament at Balby Carr School. We were drawn against Hill House St Mary's, Sir Thomas Wharton and Mexborough school. We played Hill House first. Starting off well, scored a number of ½ Rounders, however Hill House has some excellent batters who were able to hit the ball deep into the field. Despite some excellent fielding we lost. Final score Trinity 4 _1/2  Hill House 13.

The second game started a lot more promisingly, after winning the toss we elected to field first, we guarded well against the half Rounders and force a low scoring innings. Our batting was strong and tactical, final score Trinity 4 Sir Thomas Wharton 3.

Our last game against Mexborough was challenging, both sides experienced a lot of forced errors and the final score reflected a well fought game. Trinity 8 Mexborough 9 1/2  

Player of the match was Chelsea Murray, she showed great determination and courage last Tuesday.
