Result: Trinity Won 11 1/2 Rounders to 8 Rounders.

Trinity finally won the coin toss and chose to field first. After 20 good balls Hayfield were on 5 rounders, which the Trinity girls knew was a score they had achieved in previous games in an innings and went in to bat feeling confident, after the 1st batting innings Trinity were on 5 and a 1/2 rounders, with some excellent batting from all the girls.

The girls went in to field for the second innings feeling confident and positive, there fielding was a massive improvement on previous matches and this reflected in the result, with some excellent fielding from Fiona Beddoes, the girls managed to hold Hayfield down to 3 rounders from 20 good balls which meant they only needed to score 3 rounders in the second innings to take there first win of the season.

In the second batting innings the trinity girls were excellent, with rounders coming from Kennedy Simpson, Chelsea Murray and Shannon Smith, and half rounders coming from Georgia Leggott, Rachel Mawdsley, Bethany Dennison, Eleanor Lowther and Helena Parlett.

An excellent win for the Y7s, but more importantly a massive improvement in their fielding and batting skills, well done girls!!
