Key Stage 3
This is a core subject for all Key stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9) students. The course covers the following topics over the three years

- The Creation/Evolution Origins debate
- The Human Condition -Sin.
- The Founders- Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph
- The Exodus- Moses
- The Law and the Covenant- Moses
- The Judges- Samson Deborah
- The Kingdom of God- Ruth, David
- The Exile- Esther, Daniel
- The Messiah- Isaiah
- The Nativity- Incarnation
- The Early Church- Paul
- The Modern Church- Martin Luther King
Key Stage 4
Beyond Key Stage 3 we offer a Religious Studies GCSE to Years 10 and 11 covering the following topics:
- Marks Gospel - Who is Jesus, Discipleship, Conflict and Argument, Death and Resurrection
- Philosophy and Ethics- Believing in God, Life after Death Issues, Marriage and the Family, Social Harmony.
Key Stage 5
All 6th form students cover a core Philosophy, Theology and Ethics course. The course covers the following topics over the two years
- Philosophy, Worldviews, Liberty and Censorship, Work and Rest, The family, Medical Ethics, Crime and Punishment, Personal Principles
- Students may also elect to pursue Religious Studies at A-Level. The course covers the following topics over the two years.
- Philosophy of Religion- The Cosmolological Argument, The Teleological Argument, Miracles, Suffering, The ontological Argument, Religious Experience, Atheism, Life after Death, Religious Language
- New Testament- Fourth Gospel- Women in John, Discipleship, I am sayings, Prologue.
