Psychology and Sociology are two of the most popular A level subjects at Trinity Academy. Both subjects are very relevant to students’ lives and, consequently, rewarding to study.
The staff who teach in these subject areas are Mrs D’Italia-Stevens (subject co-ordinator), Mr Burnip and Miss Piercey, all of whom are subject specialists. All resources are centralised in one teaching area to facilitate ease of access for students.
Psychology and Sociology are recognised and valued by colleges and universities. However, both have a strong vocational element, with Psychology being increasing influential in the fields of Sport and Education whilst Sociology can lead to professions such as Social Work and Nursing.
