At Emmanuel College, the official school day is between 8:25 am and 4:00pm. The school is open either side of this time frame to allow students to use facilities such as computer systems and the library. There are also extra curricular activities hosted outside this normal day.

| 12.50 – 1.40pm | Period 5 (lunch: Years 10, 11, 12 and 13) |
| 1.40 – 2.30pm | Period 6 |
| 2.30 – 3.15pm | Period 7 |
