Emmanuel College has been subject to a full Ofsted inspection on four occasions to date, most recently in June 2009, receiving an 'outstanding' grading every time.
In addition, three subject surveys have taken place, in Music, Science and 'Learning Outside the Classroom' (LOTC). In Science and Learning outside the classroom Emmanuel was awarded an 'outstanding' grade in every category; as the purpose of the Music survey was to inform the National Music Advisor's report into best practice music partnerships, the survey was ineligible for grading.
