Bede arrived with only nine players because many girls had musical commitments back at the Academy.  Bedlington won the toss and chose to field first.  Bede put on an excellent batting display, scoring a number of full rounders and many half-rounders.  Only one player was out during the innings.  Bedlington came into bat and found the Bede fielding too strong, particularly Dana Kelly's safe hands on second bay. 

The second innings was also successful for Bede, with lots of spectacular catches from Tyler McGowan, Hollie Gillespie and Shaunagh McGowan.
