Trinity - Most Improved GCSE's

GCSE Results in ESF Academies are outstripping the rates of progress being enjoyed elsewhere in the country as both The King's and Trinity record figures which are almost 3 times higher than those achieved by students in their predecessor schools just five years ago.
Whilst national figures are expected to show a rise of around 10% over the five years since 2003, both Chris Drew and Ian Brew, the respective Principals of The King's and Trinity, are rightly proud of what their teams of staff and students have achieved.
The King's Academy 5A*-C pass rate for GCSE has reached a new peak of 61%, a full 39% higher than the 22% averaged by its two predecessor schools and Trinity's rise to 74% is a massive 48% higher than the 26% recorded in Thorne Grammar School in 2003.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel remains among the country's top comprehensives with 98% of students gaining 5 Higher Grades.
